About The Position

The Plant Finance Controller manages financial reporting and information systems data for the Marshall operations, providing reports for internal management and external regulatory agencies. The position develops, analyzes, and interprets statistical and accounting information to assess profitability, capital expenditures, and performance against budget. It manages the site's accounting and finance functions, oversees information systems and monthly close and reporting, and supports management with financial and operational planning.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with sufficient accounting courses.
Seven to ten years of experience in progressively more challenging financial assignments in a manufacturing environment.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship or immigration-related support.

Responsibilities

Manage accounting and finance functions for the Marshall operations, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, general ledger, cost accounting, and analysis supporting manufacturing operations.
Oversee information systems, including the local area network, desktop hardware and software, application development and support, and connectivity with the wide area network and internet.
Oversee monthly closing and reporting and analysis of results.
Support management in carrying out full P&L, operations, and long-range planning responsibilities.
Develop price quotes for future business.
Manage and train finance staff.
Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Comply with and support health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures.
