Assuring compliance with company policies, government and regulatory agency laws, regulations, and codes. Implementing and ensuring use of a Reliability Framework and Asset Management System to drive continual improvements in safety, employee engagement and overall equipment effectiveness. Collaborating with cross functional partners such as engineering, quality, supply chain, EHS, human resources and operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the organization Leading and providing direction of Plant Engineering supervisors, and other direct reports to drive continuous improvement in plant performance and productivity. Implementing strategic direction on all facilities and maintenance activities for the Nevada plant. Determining capital requirements necessary for the plant to maintain it's ability to meet customer requirements. Supporting, managing and leading the maintenance team to meet overall plant and business objectives. Promoting 3M’s Plant Engineering Human Capital Strategies that deliver operational goals for recruiting, development, retention and ultimately the technical capabilities of our workforce. Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties. Safety is a core value at 3M. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and Six (6) years of plant maintenance and/or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment OR Associate’s degree in an Industrial Maintenance-related technical field and Eight (8) years of plant maintenance and/or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
