Implementing and ensuring use of a Reliability Framework and Asset Management System to drive continual improvements in safety, employee engagement and overall equipment effectiveness. Collaborating with cross functional partners such as engineering, quality, supply chain, EHS, human resources and operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Leading the plant engineering and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement in plant performance and productivity. Implementing strategic direction on all facilities and maintenance activities for the Oak Hills plant. Determining capital requirements necessary for the plant to maintain it's ability to meet customer requirements. Supporting, managing and leading the maintenance team to meet overall plant and business objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Six (6) years of plant maintenance and/or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
All US-based 3M full time employees will need to sign an employee agreement as a condition of employment with 3M. This agreement lays out key terms on using 3M Confidential Information and Trade Secrets. It also has provisions discussing conflicts of interest and how inventions are assigned.
Employees that are Job Grade 7 or equivalent and above may also have obligations to not compete against 3M or solicit its employees or customers, both during their employment, and for a period after they leave 3M.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in an Industrial Maintenance-related technical field OR bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

Responsibilities
