About The Position

This position works with guidance from the supervisor to prepare and present routine reports and occasionally lead routine problem- solving efforts. The position will maintain effective working relationships with others. The Plant Engineer will help track the LRP Budget for Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants, support all engineering requests from these plants, and support outage planning and execution at these plants. Travel will be expected between Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants weekly.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Nuclear)
2 yrs. related job experience OR experienced gained through college degree programs/certifications
Must be available and able to work overtime as assigned
Team - work and collaboration skills within the team/department
Maintain effective working relationships within the team/department
Problem solving techniques to address issues

Responsibilities

Performs assigned task with guidance from supervision
Assemble and collate issue specific information to support studies
Assist in organization and occasionally lead assigned projects
Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Prepare and present routine reports
Participate in special projects, committee assignments and routine problem - solving efforts as requested
Help track the LRP Budget for Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants
Support all engineering requests from Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants
Travel will be expected between Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants weekly
Support outage planning and execution at Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants
