Plant Engineer- Cement

Provide leadership in development and implementation of plant safety initiatives. Oversee the optimization of production equipment, including kiln, grinding mills, and related processes and inputs including raw materials and fuels. Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts in cooperation with the Maintenance Manager. Coordinate refractory related activities, including selection, ordering, removal, installation, and maintenance of refractory history.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, Mechanical engineering discipline strongly preferred.
- Cement and/or heavy industrial setting experience required
- Proven communication and relationship management skills
- Problem solving skills and multi-discipline thinking
- Excellent working knowledge with a variety of software
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
Nice To Haves
- Previous leadership experience is an asset
- Safety and maintenance exposure is an asset
- AutoCad experience nice to have
