About The Position

This position is responsible for supervising and planning the cost-effective and timely execution of maintenance activities necessary to support the operation of all equipment and processes within the Processing Maintenance and Refrigeration departments. Responsibilities include directing, coordinating, and supporting maintenance supervisors and team members; collaborating with contractors, vendors, and company engineering teams on equipment modifications or installations; and troubleshooting and resolving new or complex technical issues related to equipment and processes. This role is also responsible for efficiently managing and maintaining highly automated systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotics. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and maintaining the maintenance training program for maintenance team members; assisting with budget preparation and oversight; coordinating team member work schedules; ensuring required parts and assets are available and properly maintained; providing information to support management decision-making; and performing other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance supervisory experience, including experience leading maintenance supervisors.
  • Basic computer proficiency required.
  • Must communicate effectively and provide clear, specific direction.
  • Requires strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration, automation, and maintenance training processes.
  • Must exercise sound judgment, make effective decisions, stay organized, and appropriately accept and delegate responsibility.
