About The Position
The Plant Engineer III is responsible for maintaining accurate logs on all equipment in the hospital and providing for a safe working environment. This role involves maintaining and repairing equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems. The Plant Engineer III also maintains the building and its related systems. This position requires certification and/or licensure in a specific trade directly related to healthcare engineering.
Requirements
- Five (5) years experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred
- Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade that is relative to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Responsibilities
