About The Position

Lake Huron Medical Center is a 139-bed community hospital serving residents of St. Clair and Sanilac counties. It is affiliated with Lake Huron Medical Group and is part of Prime Healthcare.

The Plant Engineer II maintains accurate equipment logs and helps provide a safe working environment. The role maintains and repairs hospital equipment and systems, including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems. Driving may be required for company business.

Requirements

• Able to troubleshoot and read schematics and/or blueprints.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate logs on all hospital equipment.
• Provide for a safe working environment.
• Maintain and repair mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas equipment and systems.
• Drive as needed for company business.
