About The Position

An I&C Plant Engineer is required for an engineering services role supporting plant operations in Sayreville, New Jersey. With a salary of $170,000 to $180,000 depending on skills and experience, the position also includes eligibility for bonus, profit sharing and benefits for employees and eligible dependents. Working with guidance from supervision, the I&C Plant Engineer will support routine engineering activities, contribute to project assignments and participate in problem-solving efforts. This position would suit an experienced engineer, with Electrical and/or Instrumentation and Controls experience preferred. The level of appointment will be determined by the successful candidate’s skills, education and experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial or Nuclear Engineering.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively on assigned tasks with supervisory guidance.

Nice To Haves

• Electrical and/or Instrumentation and Controls experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned engineering tasks with guidance from supervision.
• Gather issue-specific information to support engineering studies.
• Assist with the organisation and implementation of assigned projects.
• Contribute to the preparation and presentation of reports.
