About The Position

Coke Florida is looking for a Plant Control Specialist based out of our Jacksonville location. We’re currently looking for 1st shift, working Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm. The primary focus of this role is to build and steward an integrated operational plan for cold drink equipment that supports the commercial strategy of Coke Florida. The plan will include the entire lifecycle of equipment that enables Coke Florida to have the right equipment in the right place with the right products for the right customers so we can deliver the best consumer experience with our cold beverages.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or finance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• Data visualization application competence (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Working knowledge of project management tools

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Master’s a plus
• Previous entrepreneurial and/or operational business experience highly valued
• Previous experience with ERP applications is ideal
• Some project management experience preferred
• Previous Consumer Packaged Goods experience

Responsibilities

• Liaison across functions to develop and operationalize an integrated equipment planning process, including commercial demand driving equipment needs (remanufactured or purchased), capacity planning, and delivery of the right mix of equipment to support commercial needs.
• Engage with the finance team on capital needs and the flow of equipment purchases in conjunction with available funding opportunities.
• Build the structure and integrate into standing routines for visibility of equipment performance metrics and necessary actions to improve equipment placements, performance, and utilization.
• Provide thought leadership on equipment effectiveness, such as equipment rationalization, definition of measures of success, and equipment innovation.
• Improve the business acumen of the organization regarding cold merchandising equipment, including unattended retail equipment.
• Provide support in new business processes and capabilities that leverage equipment to improve operational and economic outcomes.
• Develop/implement key success metrics and scorecards.
• Champion innovation initiatives like IoT application in equipment placements to improve customer experience and service levels.
• Perform all other assigned tasks in support of organizational objectives.
