About The Position

Position Overview: As a Plant Controller, Aerofit, you'll be part of our Industrial Finance Controllership team working as an on-site employee at our Fullerton, CA location. Key Responsibilities: ' Financial Governance & Internal Controls. ' Maintain accurate financial statements in strict accordance with US GAAP and corporate policies. ' Lead comprehensive month-end and quarterly closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. ' Drive full compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and continuously improve the site's internal control environment. ' Oversee inventory management, including the coordination of year-end physical inventories, cycle counting programs, and the development of robust control procedures. ' Manage the fixed asset sub-ledger, including expenditure monitoring, Construction-in-Progress (CIP) reviews, and asset audits. ' Proactively identify accounting risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. ' Operational Business Partnershi. ' Collaborate with the Plant Manager and operations team to provide transparent, actionable financial reporting. ' Develop and manage annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts. ' Analyze plant performance and variances, translating data into insights that drive operational improvements. ' Provide high-level scenario modeling and ad-hoc business case analysis to support strategic investment and ROI. ' Deliver financial presentations to plant leadership, business units, and corporate stakeholders. ' Standardize routine business processes to eliminate waste and drive value creation. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional development within the finance and operations teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
7-10 years experience with proven track record in a manufacturing operations environment with deep knowledge of cost accounting
Must have at least 5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in financial statement analysis, product costing, and business case development
A strategic thinker who can work independently while collaborating across all levels of the organization
High integrity, a "continuous improvement" mindset, and the ability to thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment
