As a member of the Finance team, the Assistant Controller will be responsible for ensuring all SOX requirements are met, including quarterly testing and reporting. This role involves analyzing and updating customer pricing and material costing, assisting in the plant physical inventory process, and analyzing accruals and account reconciliations. The Assistant Controller will also assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, resolve financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information, and analyze department checkbooks, recommending financial actions. Additionally, this position oversees the fixed asset system and lease system to ensure accounting accuracy and prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
