About The Position

As an Plant Accounting Associate, you are responsible for managing customer accounts and timely collections. You will partner with Outside Sales and internal teams, follow up on past due accounts and payment issues, and monitor accounts for non-payment, late payments, and discrepancies. This role involves researching and resolving billing and payment concerns, processing chargebacks, returns, credits, and bad debt items, and supporting lien filings and joint check agreements as needed. The associate will also maintain accurate account records and assist with reporting and special projects as required.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Experience working in JD Edwards or similar ERP systems.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • At least 2–4 years of related experience.
