About The Position

Greenworks Tools is seeking a Plant Accountant to serve as the primary on-site finance partner for their Morristown manufacturing facility. This position plays a key role in supporting plant operations through financial analysis, cost control, reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement. The role involves working closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing, HR, and Corporate Finance teams, and serving as the primary finance liaison between the Morristown facility and corporate finance leadership.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of accounting, manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or plant accounting experience.
Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
ERP system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor factory spending and analyze budget and forecast performance.
Prepare variance analyses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
Support month-end close and financial reporting processes.
Analyze manufacturing costs, labor expenses, inventory transactions, and operational variances.
Develop and maintain plant KPIs and performance reports.
Maintain fixed asset records and accountability.
Track capital expenditures and project spending.
Coordinate asset audits and inventory verification activities.
Review payment requests for accuracy, approvals, and policy compliance.
Support internal and external audits.
Help strengthen financial controls and improve finance processes.
Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing, HR, and Corporate Finance teams.
Serve as the primary finance liaison between the Morristown facility and corporate finance leadership.
