About The Position
USCENTCOM requires augmentation to its Strategic Movement Center (SMC) to mitigate the scheduled manpower reductions at the CDDOC thereby maintaining the ability to manage deployment and distribution services in the AOR.
Requirements
- Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level I professional certification.
- Well-versed in manipulation & interpretation of JOPES.
- Experience within the last 5 years in: GATES, JOPES, SMS, & APACS
- Familiarity and proficiency in: DoD Foreign Clearance Guide, USCENTCOM TPFDD LOI, & USCENTCOM joint logistics/distribution regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide analytical expertise for CDDOC & Strategic Movement Center (SMC) initiatives.
- Apply advanced analysis techniques to recommend data-driven solutions to theater distribution challenges & root causes.
- Assess transformation technologies and tools for deployment/distribution applicability.
- Synchronize AMD and USCENTCOM staff deployment and distribution data.
- Publish data-driven materials, briefings, and reports; update and distribute the bi-weekly "Camel Gram" publication.
- Assess CDDOC support functions and synchronize strategic, operational, and tactical-level metrics.
