Requirements

High School or GED required
years of experience in a manufacturing facilities, preferred.
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle simultaneous tasks under pressure.
Analytical and math skills.
Manufacturing familiarity.
Familiarity and working knowledge of quality systems.
Committed to lifelong education.
Proven track record as a team player.
Strong interpersonal skills.

High level of professionalism.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially pivot tables, xlookups, etc)

Nice To Haves

Associates degree in operation/supply chain or business preferred.

Responsibilities

Execute planning report based on direction from Material Planner.
Assist in expediting and de-expediting work orders and purchase orders.
Release work orders and purchase orders to preferred/approved suppliers.
Collaborate with purchasing in the evaluation of current/approved suppliers.
Maintain positive communications with internal/external “customers” for raw materials, finished goods, supplies, and services (Customer Service, Suppliers, Inter-plant, operations, etc.).
Manage inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers and internal traffic department.
Assure proper approval, accounting, and processing controls are maintained.
Review and close work orders.
Inventory and interplant receiving.
Manage material issues to work order.
Inventory counting.
Manage/prepare shipment information.
Prepare metric data and daily information reports.
Prepare shop packets.
Involvement in continual improvement efforts.
Various administrative duties and JD Edwards/supporting system transaction processing.
All other duties as assigned.
