As our Planning Project Manager/Senior Planner for our Placemaking team in the Salt Lake City area, you will lead and support the planning, landscape architecture, urban design, entitlement, and pre-development efforts for a variety of land development and infrastructure projects throughout the region. This role is ideal for a collaborative project leader who brings experience managing agency coordination, permitting processes, consultant teams, and client relationships from project inception through approvals. This position plays a role in helping clients successfully navigate complex planning and development processes while supporting high-quality, community-focused projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Land Development, or related field
• 15+ years of experience managing planning, landscape architecture, entitlement, land development, or urban design projects
• Strong understanding of municipal planning processes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements
• Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and design activities for land development and civil engineering projects while serving as a key point of contact for clients, agencies, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Lead planning, entitlement, and permitting efforts for land development and infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with clients, municipalities, consultants, and internal teams throughout all project phases.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and entitlement milestones.
• Prepare and review planning applications, entitlement packages, and supporting materials.
• Support strategic pursuits, proposal efforts, and ongoing client relationships
