About The Position

This role participates in the budget process, monitors expenses, and coordinates the preparation and consolidation of Information Systems budgets and business plans. The analyst is responsible for centralized purchasing management and administration, working closely with department leaders to understand business needs. They will also participate in IT department financial allocation and closing processes, manage vendor relationships to ensure value and performance, and act as a liaison for IT renewals. Additionally, the role involves participating in audits, supporting Service Management Framework processes, and demonstrating a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Suite
  • Strong problem-solving skills with customer focus
  • Ability to manage own time effectively in fast paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • 4-year college degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Communications and/or equivalent work experience in field.
  • Understand of basic project management concepts

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the budget process to assure adequate appropriation of funds and monitor actual expenses and capital appropriation requests for adherence to budget.
  • Coordinate the preparation, review, and consolidation of Information Systems budgets and business plans.
  • Responsible for centralized purchasing management and administration.
  • Work closely with multiple department leaders to understand business needs.
  • Participate in IT department monthly financial allocation and closing processes.
  • Seek to achieve the highest value service from vendors and evaluates vendor performance according to established performance metrics.
  • Liaison for IT teams for various IT renewals related to business systems, licensing, and hardware.
  • Participate in internal and external audits including vendor license compliance audits.
  • Support Service Management Framework processes and organizational governance policies.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
