About The Position

InterConnect Wiring of Fort Worth, TX is looking to hire a full-time Planning Manager / Manufacturing Production Manager to lead our planning, test programming, and tooling department. This role is responsible for ensuring that our aerospace company operates in a cost-effective manner and that employees meet performance standards for productivity and quality. The Planning Manager leads the planning group, developing and implementing objectives and performance measures for smooth departmental operations. This role involves planning jobs to aid manufacturing production and addressing operational deviations using statistical techniques. Responsibilities include reviewing and approving harness assembly drawings (HADs), ensuring AS9100 compliance, reviewing and approving work travelers, and resolving production-related problems throughout the process. The position requires leadership skills and lean manufacturing knowledge to contribute significantly to the company.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree OR 4+ years of aerospace-related experience
2+ years of management experience
Training on Six Sigma and lean manufacturing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized and attentive to detail
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks while demonstrating good time management
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Ability to mentor and motivate others
Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor
Exceptional problem-solving skills
