The primary purpose of the Planning Manager function is to enable the Ravenswood facility to provide best possible customer service, as measured in OTIF (on-time delivery) and delinquency (late orders). This function also works to control operational costs and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Ravenswood supply chain organization. The Planning Manager is a member of the Supply Chain Lead Team and has 3 direct reports and is accountable for supply chain activities related to SAP production planning, operations data analysis, KPI tracking, supply chain IT system maintenance and development and new product development. The Planning Manager also functions as project manager for major supply chain projects and drives continuous improvement within the Ravenswood supply chain group. The Planning Manager is a highly visible position, with direct interaction with all levels of sales and operations leadership, including the BU President, BU CFO, plant CEO, CFO, production & maintenance managers, and sales directors.
