About The Position

BGE, Inc. is a nationwide civil engineering consulting firm offering career opportunities across disciplines for public and private infrastructure projects. This internship is based in the Charlotte office. Interns work on a team, learn from and receive mentorship from BGE employees, and attend events and training focused on career development. Interns participate in internship-specific activities in addition to their regular work activities. The role requires working in the office 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Be in the process of obtaining a bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
• Have strong proficiency with business software, including MS Office, and the ability to learn industry-specific software.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Be a strong collaborator who works well on a team.
• Be willing and able to work in the office 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team while learning from and being mentored by BGE employees.
• Attend career-development events and training.
• Participate in intern-specific activities in addition to normal work activities.
