About The Position
Three Rivers Park District in partnership with Scott County, is seeking to fill the position of Planner at Scott County Government Center in Shakopee, MN. This position will perform a variety of professional and technical duties in the field of planning, with emphasis on regional parks and trails planning, data collection and analysis. Provides project and program support for park development, land acquisition, operations, and natural resource management activities. A natural resources-based park system, Three Rivers Park District manages more than 27,000 acres of parks and trails in the Twin Cities area. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Urban or Regional Planning preferred, with a minimum of three years experience relevant to the position; or Bachelor’s Degree in a closely related field from an accredited college or university with a minimum of three years experience relevant to the position; or a Master’s Degree and a minimum of two years relevant experience; or any combination of education and relevant experience equivalent to the above.
