About The Position

This role involves reviewing and comprehending specifications to ensure compliance with customer processing requirements. The Planner will verify customer purchase orders, develop detailed work instructions for manufacturing complex machine details and assembling aircraft components, and determine the need for additional sketches and aids. The position requires analyzing customer engineering drawings and models to identify configuration changes, understanding and utilizing the MRP system for database maintenance and work order generation, and creating work order and certification documents for information flow and objective evidence of conformance. Additionally, the Planner will plan and schedule workflow for departments and operations, and provide technical support to internal departments and outsourcing vendors.

Create work order and certification documents to provide flow down of information and objective evidence of specification and conformance.
Comprehend supplied purchase orders and blueprints for proper flow down to process.
Plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
Provide technical support to internal departments and outsourcing vendor bases.
