About The Position

EBC is a company that specializes in executing major infrastructure projects such as bridges, roads, highways, tunnels, and marine installations. They are known for their ability to meet deadlines and budgets, and have been involved in significant projects like the Samuel-De-Champlain Bridge, the Réseau Express Métropolitain (REM), and the Site C hydroelectric power station. EBC is currently seeking an onsite planner for their Ladore Project in Campbell River. This role requires full-time onsite presence. The Project Scheduler is responsible for preparing, maintaining, updating, and reporting on the project's Supply & Install Schedule, including look-aheads, narratives, and registers. The position is part of the Submittals & Scheduling function, reporting to the Project Director, and collaborates with the Document Controller, Project Controls, Project Engineers, Construction, and the AELGP Contract Administrator. The output of this role is crucial for monthly progress certification and payment, gate-outage management, delay and acceleration analysis, and providing BC Hydro with an understanding of the project's status.
