About The Position

The Planner Scheduler owns day-to-day work order management and short-term production scheduling in a complex manufacturing environment. The role releases, prioritizes, sequences, tracks, and closes work orders in SAP, adjusting schedules as real-time shop floor conditions and priorities change. It maintains accurate SAP data, drives timely completion of open and late work orders, and works closely with Manufacturing and other stakeholders to maintain production flow and schedule adherence. The position supports low-volume, long-lead production environments and uses SAP MRP for material planning, inventory management, production scheduling, and supply chain operations. It also contributes to continuous improvement in production flow, WIP control, and Lean Manufacturing practices where applicable. This is a permanent, fully onsite position in Somerset, New Jersey, in a manufacturing setting focused on complex machines and advanced technology.
