Rabalais Constructors is seeking a Planner/P6 Scheduler in the Corpus Christi, Texas. A Planner/P6 Scheduler is responsible for creating and managing project schedules with software, often in collaboration with project managers and other team members. Requirements

Proficiency and familiarity with other scheduling tools like Microsoft Project
Strong understanding of scheduling concepts such as critical path, float, lead times, and resource leveling
Analytical and problem-solving skills to detect issues and optimize project performance
Effective communication skills for liaising with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders
Experience in project controls, construction, or engineering environments, often with 3–7 years of relevant experience for mid-level roles

Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining project schedules, including Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 schedules, and ensuring all tasks, durations, and dependencies are accurately represented
Performing critical path analysis, resource allocation, and float calculations to optimize project timelines
Monitoring project progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions to minimize cost and schedule impacts
Generating reports, S-curves, and productivity assessments to track performance and communicate updates to stakeholders
Validating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and applying logic ties within schedules to ensure accuracy
Coordinating with project teams to update schedules in real time and support decision-making
