Planner III
About The Position
Johnstown, Colorado, a growing municipality of approximately 22,000 residents, is seeking a Planner III to join its Planning team. This role operates in a high-energy, high-production environment and is crucial for managing the town's development and municipal priorities. The Planner III will perform a wide variety of municipal planning and project management functions, including land use planning and research, code updates, administration and management associated with the overall development process, mentoring of planners, handling daily "on-call" planning questions, and other land use and development functions. The position works under the direct supervision of the Director and is expected to be eager to learn, grow professionally, and contribute actively to the department's future challenges, such as implementing the new Comprehensive Plan, managing rapid development, and updating processes and systems.
