About The Position

Johnstown, Colorado, a growing municipality of approximately 22,000 residents, is seeking a Planner III to join its Planning department. This role is crucial in navigating the challenges of implementing a new Comprehensive Plan, managing rapid development, and innovating processes. The Planner III will perform a wide range of municipal planning and project management duties, including land use planning, research, code updates, development process administration, mentoring junior planners, handling daily planning inquiries, and other related land use functions. The position operates under the direct supervision of the Director and requires a candidate eager to learn, grow professionally, and contribute actively in a high-energy, high-production environment.
