About The Position

As a Planner II at our Memphis, TN facility, you will plan and schedule production activities to meet customer demand while ensuring efficient manufacturing operations and on-time delivery. You will leverage advanced planning systems, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize production flow and support continuous improvement in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning or a similar role.
  • Experience in manufacturing strongly preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and demand management principles.
  • Experience working within manufacturing and supply chain environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
  • Hands-on experience with RapidResponse (Kinaxis) required.
  • Proficiency in SAP Production module required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production plans and schedules using RapidResponse (Kinaxis) and SAP to align with demand forecasts and capacity constraints.
  • Manage demand fluctuations by analyzing impacts to production and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to optimize production flow and resolve issues.
  • Create and manage production orders, ensuring accuracy and timely release to the manufacturing floor.
  • Monitor production performance against plan; identify deviations and drive corrective actions.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis, reporting, and development of planning tools.
  • Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders regarding schedules, risks, and recovery plans.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning and manufacturing processes.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including safety, quality, and security procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
