The Planner II will lead workload activities of the assigned department by planning, scheduling, measuring, and analyzing Maintenance activities in collaboration with site supervisors. This role involves managing and maintaining the integrity of information management systems to achieve planning and scheduling objectives. The Planner II will interact with Supervisors to establish and monitor planned schedules, conduct and participate in planning meetings, and review, prioritize, and schedule work orders. They are responsible for "Runtime Forecasting" process execution and outcomes in their assigned area, and will provide guidance and mentor Planner I personnel. The position supports the area Supervisor in job preparation, execution, and follow-up, including time spent "in the field" to ensure resource readiness. They will develop, monitor, and adjust schedules in SAP, collaborate with other Planners and supervisors for long-range planning of major production shutdowns, and manage information integrity in SAP. The Planner II will also engage with Global Supply Chain for warehouse control, support contract execution by preparing scopes of work, initiate requests for parts and materials, and assist with maintenance management decisions, including departmental budgets and forecasting. Regular and ad hoc reports for site management to measure KPIs are also part of the role.
