About The Position

Gloucester County's Human Resources Department is looking for a Planner II or Planner III (depending on your experience) to join the Planning & Zoning Department. This role involves performing professional work in the Planning Division of the County's Department of Planning and Zoning to help ensure the orderly growth and efficient administration of public resources. The employee must exercise considerable initiative and independent judgment in all phases of work, and also exercise tact and courtesy in frequent contact with the public, County officials, and other governmental agencies. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in planning or closely related field.
• Planner II - Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in planning, zoning and community development work preferred.
• Planner III - Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in planning, zoning, and or community development.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
