About The Position

Under general supervision, performs professional level long range planning activities, ensuring program consistency within City planning strategies; and performs related duties as assigned. The City of Henderson’s Long Range Planning and Services Division of the Community Development and Services Department develops and implements land use plans, policies and programs, conducts research, and performs analysis to benefit both current and future residents. Long Range Planning integrates multiple disciplines and synchronizes efforts to improve and maintain a premier quality of life in Henderson.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in planning, geography, architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, public or business administration, or a closely related field
Two (2) years of professional level experience in planning
Must possess and maintain a valid Nevada or "border state" driver's license as defined by NRS 483
