Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Zero to two years of experience in production planning, materials, scheduling, inventory, procurement, or manufacturing operations.
  • Basic understanding of work orders, bills of material, inventory, lead times, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with, or ability to learn, ERP/MRP systems and planning transactions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and strong attention to detail.
  • Clear communication, organization, follow-through, and willingness to escalate issues promptly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in electronics, PCBA, server, storage, networking, data center, or high-volume manufacturing.
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, or new product introduction activities.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer orders, approved forecasts, backlog, and production priorities for assigned products or work centers.
  • Assist with maintaining daily and weekly production schedules using established planning rules and system data.
  • Create, update, reschedule, and close work orders in the ERP/MRP system according to approved procedures.
  • Verify basic work order information, including quantities, dates, revisions, routings, and bill of material data; escalate discrepancies for correction.
  • Run material availability and shortage reports, track missing components, and communicate risks before scheduled production starts.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Warehouse, Procurement, Engineering, and Logistics to support material staging and schedule execution.
  • Monitor open work orders, WIP status, past-due orders, and completion activity for assigned builds.
  • Maintain accurate planning trackers, shortage logs, system notes, and routine daily or weekly reports.
  • Participate in production and shortage meetings and follow up on assigned actions.
  • Support new product introductions, inventory reviews, cycle-count research, and planning process improvements as assigned.
  • Follow company policies, quality requirements, customer commitments, and site safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties consistent with the general scope and level of the position, as assigned.
