The Planner Analyst is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and timely delivery of products. This role works closely with manufacturing, supply chain, purchasing, engineering, and quality teams to balance production capacity, material availability, and customer demand. Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Stevens Point, WI facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling or manufacturing operations OR High School diploma 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling or manufacturing operations

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced Excel or data analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on customer demand, material availability, and capacity constraints.
  • Prioritize work orders and issue schedules to the production floor.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and inventory teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Monitor shortages, delays, or inventory discrepancies and take proactive corrective action.
  • Communicate schedule updates and risks to production, customer service, and leadership.
  • Participate in production meetings and provide accurate schedule status.
  • Maintain accurate ERP/MRP data and generate production reports.
  • Investigate and resolve schedule interruptions such as downtime, shortages, and rework.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling accuracy and workflow efficiency.
