Reviews sediment and erosion control, stormwater, water quality plans, and stormwater calculations/engineer reports. Reviews plans, elevation certificates, flood studies, and other regulatory submittals for floodplain encroachment and/or compliance with the County's Flood Damage Prevention ordinance. Reviews residential and commercial building permits for stormwater compliance. Review plans for roadway, utility infrastructure, and associated land disturbance impacts to waterbodies. Review retaining wall plans for scour and erosion impact and sustainability. Review and assess detention waiver requests. Reviews stormwater and roadway as-builts. Assist in review and processing of bond requests for off-site sedimentation and final stabilization. Performs site visits and/or inspections for floodplain and stormwater compliance, as needed, which requires the ability to drive and operate a vehicle. Coordinate with other local, State and Federal government agencies on permit application approvals. Maintain Stormwater Compliance permit databases, archived files, and GIS data. Issues County Land Disturbance Permits for County and State approved plans. Coordinate and provide support to Environmental Compliance Inspectors on specific project issues, including approved and stamped plan sets, Pre-Construction Conferences, compliance and potential violation questions, bonding requests, as-built inspections, and Notices of Termination applications.
