About The Position
The Plan Reviewer/Building Inspector will perform complex skilled technical work reviewing plans and inspecting properties and reviewing plans for compliance with City codes, and related work as apparent or assigned. The work of the Plan Reviewer/Building Inspector is performed under the limited supervision of the Building/Zoning Administrator.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Extensive experience in plan review and building inspections.
- International Code Council (ICC) certifications in the areas of Plans Examiner for International Building & Residential Codes 1 & 2, Family Building Inspector, Building Inspector and Commercial Building Inspector.
- Valid driver's license.
