Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Three to five years business experience plus minimum of 18 months of Defined Contribution recordkeeping or conversion experience
  • Extensive knowledge of IRPS systems.
  • Solid understanding of ERISA.
  • Project management experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience with managing and overseeing multiple plans in various stages of setup and testing.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the review and interpretation of the client's plan document and developing it into system requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with ERISA in accordance with Vanguard’s policies and procedures.
  • Designs and implements the system set-up of all IIG systems.
  • Exhibits expertise of system set-up, and utilizes knowledge to facilitate execution of system set-up for more complex projects
  • Develops, monitors, and owns project plan and schedule for system set-up.
  • Communicates effectively with internal and external clients throughout the project, to consult on and position system capabilities, gather system/ requirements, identify and resolve issues, provide project statuses, and ensure client expectations are met.
  • Monitors Plan Maintenance requests queue to ensure all request for system changes and consultations are completed timely and accurately.
  • Provides feedback on system lead process and provides recommendations on process improvements.
  • Identifies risk and solves problems in collaboration with team members.
  • Reviews transaction/service related participant communications and works with Participant Education to ensure that all transaction and services related communications are accurate.
  • Ensures accurate system and service set-up through documentation of project information and execution of audit processes.
  • Assists peers and team members with issue resolution and training efforts.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other related activities as assigned.
