About The Position
Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Placement Analyst to facilitate the marketing and placement process. This role involves coordinating submissions, gathering necessary documentation, and maintaining communication with insurance carrier partners and internal stakeholders. MMA offers business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions, combining local service with global resources.
Requirements
- Current Florida 2-20 License or ability to obtain.
- Relevant insurance industry education, training, or experience.
- Working knowledge of Sagitta Agency Management System, or willingness to learn.
- Possess good skills of persuasion and sales ability.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and submit applications and supporting documentation to insurance carriers.
- Obtain and compare insurance quotes from multiple carriers.
- Assist with gathering underwriting information and ensuring submission packages are complete and accurate.
- Process binder requests and maintain policy documentation.
- Assist with proposal preparation, policy binding and the renewal process.
- Track carrier responses, follow up on outstanding items and maintain workflow timelines.
- Coordinate communication between Placement Specialist, Producers, Carrier Representatives and internal team members.
