About The Position

The PKI Engineer will support certificate lifecycle management and PKI infrastructure automation in a hybrid role based in Jersey City or Dallas. This is a 6–12-month contract-to-hire position. The role is intended for an engineer with hands-on experience configuring and working with PKI hardware and components, including Microsoft certificate authorities, rather than an operations-focused candidate whose experience is limited to lifecycle management. The environment includes cloud and on-premises infrastructure, and work is performed collaboratively, in pairs.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft certificate authorities.
• Experience with certificate lifecycle management and PKI infrastructure automation.
• Experience with cloud and on-premises environments.
• Engineering experience configuring PKI authorities, hardware, and components, rather than operations-only experience.
• A meticulous approach and a security mindset.
• Ability to collaborate effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or Jenkins.
