About The Position

320 Market Cafe is a family-owned and operated business in Delco with over 30 years of experience and two retail and one production location. We introduced pizza to our menu in the summer of 2022 and are currently seeking a full-time Pizza Maker to join our team. This role requires weekend and evening availability, with Sundays being mandatory. Typical shifts are 11 AM - 7 PM, 1 PM - 9 PM, and 2 PM - 10 PM.

• Some guest interaction when pizzas are delivered to tables.

Responsibilities

• High quality execution of pizza orders.
• Ensuring all ingredients are appropriately prepped, assembled, and cooked according to restaurant recipes and specifications.
• Making, fermenting, and portioning all varieties of dough.
• Producing all own sauces (tomato, pesto, garlic cream, etc.) and core ingredients like roasted mushrooms.
• Producing pizzas for in-house and to-go orders in a timely manner.
• Producing core items like garlic knots, tomato pies, pretzels, and other dough-based items for a la carte purchase.
• Complying with nutrition/sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
• Flexibility in sharing space and strong communication within a shared kitchen environment with production bakers and the deli team.
• Answering, reporting, and following leadership instructions.

• Pay starts at $18-$22/hr. plus pooled tips (generally $4 to $6/hr) after 90 day probationary period.
