About The Position

We are a locally owned pizzeria in Rochester seeking an experienced individual for a steady evening job where their experience as a pizza line or cook line professional is valued. This role involves working every station, including pizza, salads, wings, cutting, register, and phones. Experienced cooks will start at the higher end of our pay scale and have opportunities for advancement as they master more aspects of the operation.

Requirements

Six months or more of experience on a pizza line, cook line, or in a QSR kitchen is preferred.
Comfortable interacting with guests in person and over the phone.
Available to work Friday evenings and at least one other weekend evening.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Adherence to food safety and sanitation rules.

Nice To Haves

Ability to stretch, sauce, and top pizzas according to build sheets.
Ability to manage multiple tickets and keep orders moving during peak times.
Willingness to train on the menu if kitchen experience is limited but fast learning is demonstrated.

Responsibilities

Make pizzas to build sheets: stretch, sauce, top, bake, cut, and box.
Build salads and prep sauces and toppings according to recipes.
Take orders at the counter and over the phone, and handle payments accurately.
Maintain a clean and stocked station during busy periods.
Assist in resetting the line during slower periods.
Perform closing duties including washing dishes, cleaning floors, and prepping for the next shift.
Assist across different stations when needed, especially during busy Friday nights.
