About The Position

The primary focus of this position is to prepare and cook pizzas while ensuring the quality and consistency in taste, appearance, and portion size. This position requires a strong understanding of pizza-making techniques, knowledge of ingredients, and the ability to work efficiently in a high paced kitchen environment. The Pizza Cook must understand and abide by all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare pizza dough and ingredients to include measuring and mixing ingredients to create pizza dough, stretch and shape dough, and arrange toppings, sauces and cheese according to recipes or customer preferences.
  • Operate pizza ovens and monitor cooking times to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection and in accordance with customer orders and special requests.
  • Monitor and manage inventory by keeping track of ingredient levels and notifying the Pizza Manager of any shortages.
  • Adhere to Godfather’s Pizza operational procedures and standards, comply with health and safety regulations for food handling and maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant.
