We are hiring immediately for a full time PIZZA COOK position. This role involves preparing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules. The cook will serve meals or prepare for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. They will also be responsible for using established ticket collection procedures during service and maintaining records from the area worked during service periods. Cleaning the kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and storing or discarding excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures are also key duties. The role requires keeping refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat, ensuring food and supply items are stored per standards, and operating and maintaining kitchen equipment as instructed. Assistance with production planning, record keeping, reporting, and ordering/receiving of food and supplies is expected. The cook must report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately and attend in-service and safety meetings. Maintaining good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers, and performing job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment are essential. The position also ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures, following HACCP standards, and requires a personal commitment to safety. Adherence to all Company policies and procedures, including specific safety guidelines for handling knives, hot pans, and proper lifting techniques, is mandatory.
