As a Pizza Cook you will work on a team and assist in producing high quality pizzas for our guests to enjoy. With a prime location in Milwaukee's Theater District, Saint Kate serves as a creative hub for the city, where every aspect of the hotel is inspired by music, painting, sculpture, and design. Requirements

  • Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Valid Food Handler certification required within first 90 days of employment
  • Sufficient manual dexterity of hand in order to use all kitchen equipment, i.e., knives, spoons, spatulas, tongs, slicers, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull weights up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, work in a confined space with high levels of noise and frequent interruptions, and perform duties within extreme temperature ranges.
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare station-specific food items according to recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Monitor product storage, portion sizes, and special items like stocks and sauces.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas to meet Health Department regulations.
  • Ensure equipment is clean, sanitized, and operational.
  • Uphold high standards of food production and presentation.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and sanitation practices.
  • Manage station setup, breakdown, and prep work.
  • Follow recipe specifications for all food preparation.
