About The Position
Fiamma Pizza is looking for an experienced cook to join our team! You will be preparing and cooking a variety of pizzas, pastas and salads to order. We are looking for someone excited about food. You're driven by a desire to provide excellent dining experiences through high-quality food. You can handle various tasks and contribute to a comfortable and productive team environment.
Requirements
- Able to obtain a WA State Food Handlers Card
- Previous experience in a restaurant environment of 1 year
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lift 30+ lbs
- Ability to work standing for 7+ hours
Responsibilities
- Prepare our recipes to order
- To guarantee safe and sanitary food handling practices, inspect and clean food preparation facilities such as equipment and work surfaces, as well as serving areas.
- Check for quality and maintain rotation of products to ensure freshness of food and ingredients.
- Regulate and monitor the temperature of ovens, warmers, and refrigeration to ensure food is stored, cooked, and served at the proper temperature
- Maintain temperature logs, keep walk-in cooler freezer organized
- Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
