About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will craft high-quality pizzas that reflect our commitment to fresh, locally sourced ingredients and exceptional guest experiences. You’ll work closely with the kitchen team to prepare, assemble, and cook pizzas to perfection, maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation in every dish. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic, fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering handcrafted food that delights our guests.

Requirements

At least 1–2 years in a professional kitchen (pizzeria experience is a plus, but a passion for high-quality dough is a must).
A desire to learn the science behind high-hydration doughs and specialized Roman baking techniques.
Commitment to maintain speed and quality in a high-volume, fast-paced service.
Communicate well with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure the guest experience is flawless from start to finish.
Ability to stand for long periods and handle the heat of a busy pizza kitchen.
You take pride in showing up for your team and your craft.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and kitchen hygiene practices.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during special vineyard events.

Nice To Haves

Pizzeria experience is a plus, but a passion for high-quality dough is a must.

Responsibilities

Execute the precise mixing, folding, and long-fermentation processes required for authentic Roman-style dough.
Stretch, top, and bake pizzas in high-heat ovens, ensuring a consistent (crunch) and airy crumb.
Prepare high-end toppings, house-made sauces, and seasonal ingredients for our pizza and focaccia sandwich programs.
Work closely with our Pizza Chef to maintain the exact standards of our signature recipes.
Ensure every tray leaving the kitchen meets our visual and culinary standards for wine-pairing excellence.
Maintain a clean, organized station during high-volume service while managing ticket times effectively.
