About The Position

The Pizza Chef will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our members and guests by preparing pizzas. This position involves preparing pizza menu items and using pizza ovens and equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for culinary excellence, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include maintaining food quality and safety standards and ensuring timely and efficient service.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation, with a focus on high-volume service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff and management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, with a valid food handler’s certification.
  • Ability to think on your feet and resolve issues quickly and efficiently during busy service
  • 1-3 years of pizza-centric kitchen experience

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Prior private club experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality pizza dishes, ensuring all meals are prepared according to recipes and specifications.
  • Assist in the timeliness and organization of maintaining an organized and prepared workstation.
  • Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation regulations are strictly adhered to, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
