Pit Operator
About The Position
The Pit Operator position is a full-time, hourly role primarily responsible for moving bundles of boxes, loading trucks for delivery, and maintaining a clean work environment. This role involves utilizing basic shop math, inspecting materials, and accurately completing quality and administrative documents. Additionally, the Pit Operator will be assigned clean-up functions such as blowing down machinery, wiping shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, and shredding scrap. The position operates on a Monday-Friday schedule with overtime hours available. Specific pay rates are detailed for different responsibilities within the role, with differentials for second and third shifts.

Responsibilities
- Moving bundles of boxes to where they need to be
- Loading trucks for delivery
- Practicing housekeeping
- Utilizing basic shop math, inspecting
- Accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions
- Performing clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.
