Requirements

• 1 year of warehouse experience
• Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
• Can perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willing to work in a warehouse environment that could include hot or cold temperatures
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or extended hours as may be required
• At least 6 months of experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
• Experience operating a forklift or powered industrial lift truck
• Trained and certified on clamp truck, counter balance, powered pallet rider, reach/cherry picker, scissor lift, sit-down forklift, and stand-up forklift.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks (forklifts) and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy
• Load and unload trailers as required
• Adhere to the 7S program and always maintain a clean environment
• Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence
• Demonstrate an understanding of the company quality policy
• Perform inbound receiving process
