About The Position

The Pit Boss will be responsible for overseeing all food smoking and food preparation. This role requires an in-depth understanding of smoking and barbecuing methods, and preferably experience with a commercial smoker. The position involves working with the General Manager and Executive Chef.

Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of smoking and barbecuing methods
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Industry-specific strategic and analytical knowledge
  • Proficient culinary skills
  • Proficient computer skills (including Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook, and database applications)
  • Serve safe certification
  • Must be at least 21

Nice To Haves

  • One-year of smoking experience
  • Servsafe certification
